Preparing Artwork

• Tracer Tags accepts, Adobe CS3 Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Quark XPress and Pagemaker.
• Allow for 1/8" (3.18mm) of bleed outside the die line when necessary.
• Reverse type must not be smaller than 6 points or .007" at the thinnest part of the character.
• Type must begin no less than 1/8" (3.18mm) inside the die line.
• Convert RGB images to CMYK.
• Save artwork at 300dpi at 100% and 1200dpi for bitmap files.

File Formats

Please save your files in the following formats: eps, tiff, psd, jpg, and pdf. To insure your art is reproduced correctly please include all fonts, or convert type to outlines.

Checklist

• All images that extend past the tag's or card's edge, have an 1/8" bleed around them.
• No images are in Red / Green / Blue (RGB) color mode.
• Spot colors are clearly listed.
• All images are 300 dpi or higher.
• Check your files format.
• Include all fonts used to create your document.
• Include all linked images used in your document. If you're in doubt, send the embedded ones, too.

Transport Media:

Email, CD-ROM, or DVD. We can accept Emails with attachments up to 15 MB in size. For larger files up to 100 meg we recommend using yousendit.com.

Graphic Design Solutions

We offer graphic design services at $90.00 per hour with a 30 minute minimum.

Proofs

Electronic proofs are sent in a PDF document that is emailed to you. A signed proof is required before printing begins. The online proof is only an example of the final product. It is not an exact color match. We will make every effort to duplicate the colors in your files but the final output will be at our sole discretion. We will not be responsible for any color inaccuracies that may arise.

Color Matching

Exact color matches are not guaranteed. Digital printing and the lamination process make printing on plastic difficult to color match. If you require a color match please specify the Pantone colors to match and we will make an effort to duplicate the colors you require.

Production Time

Production times are based on manufacturing capacity at the time your order is placed. The average lead time is 10-12 working days after art approval.

We will make every effort to accommodate rush requests. Additional charges may apply as well as overnight freight charges to meet your in hands date.
